Land birds will be seen amongst the Bunurong Coastal Reserve and all sectors within and beyond The Cape estate boundaries, including the grassy open spaces, remnant habitat, creekline, wetlands, streetscape and home gardens. Occasionally land birds will be seen on the Bunurong Coast.

Land birds are identified in accordance with The Australian Bird Guide. For convenience, as this list is large, it has been further grouped into: Raptors, Cockatoos and Parrots, Pigeons and Doves, Medium Bush Birds (such as Cuckoos and Kingfishers), Swallows and Swifts, Small Bush Birds (such as Wrens and Thornbills), Honeyeaters and Other Passerines (perching and song birds).
