An AO (Area of Observations) has been been established to restrict recorded sightings and photographs within The Cape area and abutting Bunurong Coastal Reserve and Marine Coastal Park. It is a relatively small AO but provides enough diversity to see and hear lots of natural activity. This has been done to track the evolution and success of the ecological restoration efforts of The Cape project and its environmental relationship with the Bunurong Coastal Reserve and Marine Coastal Park.
The Ecology and Landform menu tab provides information about the area and details of the key land elements within which Cape Chatter will focus its observations.
The AO boundaries are marked on the image below. Observations come only from those areas within the broken green and red lines and what can be seen and heard from these boundaries.
